Better Business Bureau
What is Better Business Bureau (BBB)?
The BBB’s mission is to promote “marketplace trust,” and by serving as an intermediary when customers have complaints.
The BBB's main function is to give a letter grade to businesses based on their trustworthiness and performance. This letter grade for a particular business derives from more than a dozen factors, including the company’s history of handling consumer complaints.
The BBB was founded in 1912 and has been one of the go-to resources to size up a business's quality and trust ever since.
